BRIAR Take on the world album was originally only available in 1986 on cassette tape throught the bands own label, thankfully it has at last been released on CD, it includes a great booklet with lyrics & photo's etc plus it includes 2 extra tracks from the bands self financed 1989 single 'Gimme All You Got'...Take on the world was the proposed second (after TOO YOUNG) BRIAR album release (until history pushed the band along another path...but thats another story!), this release was hailed at the time (1996) by press & fans alike as the songs that would probably break the band bigtime...but it was never to be!.
Thankfully we now have the indie labels Battle Cry Records & Mighty Monster Records to thank for the release of this much sought after album (especially by NWOBHM Heavy Metal fans), its a powerfull reminder of this great Birmingham band, full of exciting lively original songs.
